Education and Training

Mary Miller, Ph.D., CCC-A, Audiologist

Dr. Miller began her academic journey at Louisiana State University, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Audiology from The University of Memphis and later achieved her Doctorate in Audiology from James Madison University.

With years of professional experience, Dr. Miller is dedicated to helping patients improve their hearing health and overall quality of life. She is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and holds national certification through both the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Dr. Miller has also completed specialized training, earning a Certificate of Achievement in Zen Tinnitus Therapy and a Certificate of Training from the American Institute of Balance, reflecting her expertise in tinnitus management and balance disorders. Beyond her clinical practice, she proudly serves as Co-Director for Special Olympics Louisiana Healthy Hearing, a volunteer role supporting hearing care for athletes across the state.

A native of Patterson, Louisiana, Dr. Miller now resides in Ponchatoula with her husband and daughters. Her approach to care is compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-focused—helping every individual achieve better hearing and balance health.
